WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?

I grew up right here in Tampa Bay.  


WHAT COLLEGES DID YOU GO TO?

I attended University of South Florida then went to Logan University in Missouri for Chiropractic School.


WHAT MADE YOU GO TO CHIROPRACTIC SCHOOL?

Great story!  You know when you're in college and working  multiple part-time jobs,  life gets very busy and its non-stop.  It started as a mild neck tension, then it became more  and more painful, each passing day.  By the end of the week,  I could barely get up from bed because the neck pain was so bad.  So, I made an appointment to see a chiropractor and within a couple sessions and physiotherapy, I was back to normal without taking any medications for pain.  Not to mention, my range of motion was back; because 3 days before I could not turn my neck to drive.  It was this experience  that made me get into chiropractic.   The rest is history.


WHAT TECHNIQUES OR ADJUSTMENTS DO YOU USE?

I do  traditional manipulation, drop table adjustment, instrument/tool adjustment, or a combination of all of these.  It also depends on a patient's age, size, and the patient's preference.  I believe the muscles must be addressed as well as the bones.  I do both in the office.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR PREVENTING PAIN?
Practice proper body mechanics, because that is half the battle to preventing pain due to wear and tear.  When you experience pain, seek the help you need so it does not get worse.  Feed your body healthy  nutritious foods and allow your body  to rest so it  can recover and heal.  


WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES  AND WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?

I love to play piano, sing, dance, cook, and travel.  I also enjoy shooting at the gun range with my husband.  I enjoy a lot of things.   I am a person that never gets bored.  I can enjoy a hot cup of coffee with a muffin  while staring at my fish tank or riding my bike on a trail, to singing Karaoke at the local restaurant near by.   I have scuba dived, sky-dived, and swam with whale sharks.
